Help write the soreal manifesto

All art is collaboration
WIKIPEDIA has shown the experiment in groupware and collective writing can work...But can it work in a more speculative way?

Sorealism.com is pleased to present it's own WIKI SITE where you can make your own entries in our manifesto, nominate heroes, add your own soreal quotations.

You can write anonymously. You can also subscribe and see any changes that people have made.

Declaration of January 1925
"Surrealism is not a new means or expression, or an easier one, nor even a metaphysic of poetry. It is a means of total liberation of the mind and of all that resembles it...

We make no claim to change the mores of mankind, but we intend to show the fragility of thought, and on what shifting foundations, what caverns we have built our trembling houses. "

Hmmm. Like the fragility of thought bit.

Breton's 1929 Surrealist Manifesto also states:

"Whether we like it or not, there is enough there to satisfy several demands of the mind... (the mind) has nothing to fear, since, moreover, it attempts to embrace everything."

Yes. Sorealism is also too broad to be confined to the arts or culture...

Health Warnings
Artistic manifestos are pretty scary things, and usually lead to results which are either mad or bad (or both).

Here's part of the Futurist Manifesto of 1909: ahead of its time, for sure, but who wants to leap ahead to 1914, or 1939?

"We want to glorify war - the only cure for the world - militarism, patriotism, the destructive gesture of the anarchists, the beautiful ideas which kill, and contempt for woman."

Go on. Say what you really mean.
